My husband and I contacted Aava almost two years out from our ideal wedding date. We were speaking with several different planners at the time and ultimately chose Aava because of their experience, professionalism, and kindness, but most importantly, their ability to connect with us, and envision our wedding exactly as we envisioned it. Thank goodness we did, because we could not have dreamed of a better team.

When searching for venues, they produced a list for our review, and we selected several to tour. One of the venues had very few photos and zero information anywhere on the internet. Initially, we decided we didn’t want to see it – Aava insisted that this might be exactly what we had been envisioning. They were of course right – and from that moment forward they had our trust. While we initially had no idea how Aava could have found this venue, after seeing their expertise and know-how, it were clear that this was only one of many secrets they know about wedding planning!

Through our nearly two year planning process, Chloe and Sarah were incredibly organized, transparent, and, not to mention, so much fun. Being from the US, we let them lead the way with the selection of our vendors, but they were always eager to discuss options with us and incorporate our feedback/ideas. Communication was fantastic, the language barrier never being an issue – they always made sure they understood exactly what we wanted. They truly went above and beyond for us and made the process so much less stressful than we could ever imagine a destination wedding could be. We got off the plane in France for our wedding week calm and incredibly excited thanks to their diligent planning.

And then disaster struck – a terrible storm derailed all of our planning and made it impossible to have our wedding at our venue on the planned day. So, two days before our wedding, we had to make the impossible decision on what to do. After a long (and very emotional) discussion with Chloe on our options, we ultimately chose to move our wedding back a day – something they had never done before, but we had no doubt that if anyone could pull it off, it was Aava. The team immediately sprung into action contacting vendors, the venue, and keeping my fiance and I calm during an incredibly stressful couple days.

But as predicted, they pulled it off flawlessly. Not to mention, every single vendor from the original date was able to make the wedding. From the welcome dinner to the wedding to the after party, every single detail was perfect and executed impeccably. The flowers, decorations, food, music, transportation, hair/makeup – every single recommendation they made was perfect. They handled the unpredictable with grace – last minute seating chart changes, moving the welcome dinner inside, etc., and my fiance and I were able to drop all of the stress and enjoy the weekend despite everything that had happened.

I simply cannot say enough good things about Aava – we are so thankful for Chloe and Sarah and are honestly missing their names popping up on email and Whatsapp each week. Our wedding was the most incredible day of our lives and we have them to thank for those irreplaceable lifelong memories.

While we are sad we won’t be speaking and laughing with them everyday, we are already planning trips back to see them, reminisce, and continue our memories!

We had another wedding planner before selecting Aava which unfortunately it did not work out so perhaps we have the rare opportunity to be able to rate multiple planners.

The team are exceptional in every single aspect from the moment you meet them. Ultra professional, incredible organisation and efficiency and amazing contacts throughout the industry make for the perfect team.

From the beginning despite the team I believe running a record number of weddings, we honestly felt like they were only planning our wedding, there was a personal touch throughout.

They really love what they do and it shows in their work. We had the wedding of our dreams, beyond our dreams, all this despite last minute cancellation of a venue (the venue’s fault not theirs!), COVID uncertainty and other such problems they still pulled off a wedding that greatly exceeded our expectations.

We were worried about being able to enjoy the actual wedding day due to stress but there was very little stress, everything was so smooth the entire team working hard in the background we just had to really arrive enjoy everything.

The venues, the band, the flowers, the makeup, photographers, videographers, the fireworks (wow!!), the atmosphere, every single thing was world class, absolute top of their industry.

We can safely say we had the best days of our life at our wedding thanks to Aava. If you are even thinking of going with them for your wedding you absolutely must, you will not regret it.

We are a British and French couple and planned a 2 days wedding in Cannes with 3 events (wedding day, beach day, beach party) and everything was absolute perfection and went very smoothly thanks to the amazing Aava team!
