We had an great experience at Bolagala Agro Floating Resort. Our guider from the hotel was Miss Yashodara and she did a great job. She arranged our time effectively. And also, Mr. Dhanuka helped us and secured our safe throughout the kayaking. Our stay was so amazing with the number of new activities such as kayaking, nature walk, gami gedara, etc. It was a new concept with an beautiful environment. The food was so yummy specially koththu 🤤 and the staff is highly skilled and so friendly. 😍

Had an exceptional stay at Bolagala Agro Floating Resort! The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely dedicated to the guests. The food was outstanding, delicious and beautifully presented. We loved the unique greenhouse-styled rooms. The stay included free activities like kayaking, vegetable picking, and a tour to Gemi Gama. The pool was one of the best we’ve ever been to. Highly recommend this place for a unique and memorable getaway. Hope they will maintain the same standards over time.

Really nice resort. Very quiet environment surrounded by nature.
Food was excellent and beautifully presented with a range of local and international options but always made with locally sourced ingredients, most of them from the property itself. We were treated to tables in different locations every night (restaurant, romantic dinner on the island and upper terrace).
The service was absolutely fabulous and attentive. We checked in really early and got a temporary room given to us so we could shower and relax after our overnight flight. It was a very nice gesture.
The rooms were nice, clean and air conditioned. We had a plunge pool in ours which was a nice treat every day. For the rooms which do not, there is a big pool available to guests too.
The property overall is a great concept and truly beautiful. In the middle of a couple of ponds, it feels very serene and is an absolute paradise for birdwatchers with over 30 species recorded during our 2 night stay.
