Dori + Dorottya truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at ease, and had so much attention to detail. The entire wedding day felt seamless – and it was all because of them making the magic happen behind the scenes. Even when faced with a few unforeseen roadblocks, they took it upon themselves to accommodate the issues and I could not be more grateful! They also did a fantastic job working with us and our budget and negotiated everything on our behalf. The planning process overall was a lot less daunting because of their help, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in Budapest, especially if you live all the way in the U.S. and need a team you can trust.

We knew our wedding would be a “”destination wedding”” for many of our guests wherever we decided to get married. Budapest was somewhere we had visited once and enjoyed immensely, but when the idea of getting married there came up, everything came together SO EASILY we had to choose Budapest and Budapest Weddings. Dori and Andrea (Andi) Kiss were amazingly thorough, helpful, and patient from the very first email. Personally we loved how for each major decision, we were presented with a limited number of options (think 5-10), so the planning process never felt overwhelming. At the same time, we planned a rather unique wedding ceremony and party at The Writer’s Villa, and throughout the planning process we also felt like we could customize and make the day exactly what we wanted. We really appreciated when Andi would prompt us for follow up to keep planning moving along and finalize decisions. We had a FANTASTIC experience with everyone: Andi, the florist team, catering team, A/V team, bartenders, and photographer. It’s been almost 3 months since we tied the knot and everyone is still talking about our wedding as the best they’ve ever attended. I wanted to surprise my wife with a vow renewal while we were in Budapest for our anniversary. My daughter contacted Dora Helmeczi five days before we were trying to plan it – Dori was wonderful in putting together a plan on very short notice with a location, a priest and photographer that fit exactly what we were looking to do.
