My name is Kelly Lachance. I live in San Francisco, California. Italian Weddings & Events were the dream team that helped my husband and I plan the best wedding ever in Lake Como on June 30th, 2022. We hired the team in May 2021.
I lack the right words to express my gratitude toward Andrea and her team. Most wedding planners I interviewed appealed to my dreams in order to win our wedding planning contract. On the other hand, on our very first introductory call, Andrea was upfront about managing expectations based on our budget and non-negotiable items we wanted to include in our event (notably fireworks, a band, and a dancefloor). She again proved her commitment to delivering quality events when navigating through venues. She protected us from catastrophe when a specific venue we were keen to book was making promises they could not execute upon. Andrea carefully combed through contracts, negotiated terms, and value-added services.
In terms of our wedding in itself – I couldn’t have ever envisioned a wedding of this splendor. Everything was beautifully executed. As I am only 25 years old, most of our friends have since commented that they fear their weddings could never match ours! LOL! With only a few words, “”glamour, elegance, and fun,”” Andrea and her team captured exactly what I wanted with little guidance. She always presented me with multiple options in terms of vendors and knew their pros and cons on every level. Her team’s thoroughness truly is unmatched. For the entire wedding planning period, leading up to the day before my wedding, my friends and family were confused at how calm I was about the wedding. My answer was that selecting Italian Weddings and Event was the best decision we made. We had some hiccups during our wedding that were 100% because of the venue. However, the team managed it so well that I didn’t have a clue until the next day! Andrea and her team even wanted to make sure our wedding cake didn’t go wasted once the event was over. I had the best day of my life. In the aftermath, Andrea even helped me to seek resolution with the venue.
