Nahid Farhoud, founder and creative director of Nahid’s Global Events, is a distinguished luxury wedding and event designer with over two decades of experience. Based in San Diego, her firm specializes in multicultural celebrations, merging instinctual sophistication, innovative design, and a keen sense of high-end fashion. Raised in a culturally diverse family, Nahid’s global upbringing—including her move from Kuwait to the U.S. at 17—and early entrepreneurial ventures in real estate and laundromats cultivated her business acumen, steering her toward event planning after a pivotal wedding course.
Since 2005, Nahid’s Global Events has orchestrated grand and intimate weddings worldwide, from Lebanon and France to Egypt and Mexico, serving Indian, Middle Eastern, Jewish, and Asian communities.
