Stayed here for 2 nights on a tour of sri lanka and very nice hotel. Room overlooking pool and looked very pretty. Food and service good. On the night we were there a wedding party was taking place which was spectacular to see with all the lights. Would recommend.

We booked the hotel through booking.com just one day before arrival.
We arrived at this hotel after visiting most of the cultural sites and we were extremely tired and was waiting to rest.
Upon arrival i realised that there has been a mistake in my booking where I have booked only for one person, but the need was for two. They could have made this an issue and given us a hard time. The front office lady – thilini and another guy who was wearing specs (did not ask him what his name was) handled it really well and gave me a quick solution and checked us in swiftly. We very much appreciated handling of this situ and we got a good first impression.
The room furniture is nice and sufficient space to move around. Comfy Bed, with flat screen TV with choice of channels for all and tea making facilities available. Bathroom was clean all facilities working.
The room was faced to the pool area with two chairs on the patio. Great place to chillax.
We were on BB and the breakfast was good and enough though it was on set menu basis.
The staff is friendly and all are willing to help. We were extremely happy with the service except the restaurant staff who did not pay any attention to us and was not bothered to give any details on the menu as there wasn’t a printed menu card – which is a downside.
The AC was taking time to cool a bit and there was a day wedding the day we stayed and was extremely noisy If there are night weddings it will be worse.
Overall good, safe hotel to stay. About 2 Km to the main city center. But there is a restaurant called ‘Walkers’ where you can find decent food. Nearby there are several hotels.
The hotel could pump up the interior of the hotel general areas a bit to give some atmosphere.

We had our Homecoming Rajarata Hotel…. The place is ideal place for my theme and I could not found a place like this hotel… The Hotel is very clean and the staff gave us unforgettable service.
The food ( long buffet with so many varieties) was very very delicious… thank you very much for the chef and his team..
