My stay at Shanghri-La Istanbul has raised my standards for hotels around the world. The staff here is exceptional, any person I interacted with went above and beyond to make my stay seamless. I stayed here during my wedding week, which is a very hectic time for any bride but the team at Shanghri-La were like my family and took care of my every need.
Dilara from the concierge desk took care of a huge part of wedding planning by organizing the most perfect sunset cruise for all our guests. She coordinated with the yacht company to start the cruise at the Shanghri-La dock and end it near the restaurant where we had a welcome dinner. She deserves so much praise for her efforts and I truly can’t thank her enough for all her hard-work.
Cyrine Selaami is a huge asset to Shanghri-Isrnabul, she was personally invested in making sure we were taken care of during our wedding week. She went above and beyond to arrange beautiful surprises for us in our room. Wedding week is a special time for any couple but it was extra sweet and special because of Cyrine.
Cansu is another excellent team member and made sure we were well taken care of and checked on us throughout our stay. She took the most special photo of us the day after our wedding and had it framed for us. We will cherish that memory forever.
My husband and his groomsmen had the most special day at the hamam to relax before the wedding. The boys loved getting facials and being pampered. The hairsalon is another huge asset and my husband got his hair trimmed there the day of the wedding and had a really pleasant experience.
The bellman, specifically Erfan was always such a wonderful host. My husband and I both love visiting Istanbul, it is one of our favorite places to travel to and I can’t imagine staying at any other hotel other than Shanghri-La. We’ve stayed here 3 times already and are already planning our next trip.
