The platform is now live and open to couples worldwide, offering seamless solutions to plan their dream weddings in Sri Lanka, Malta, and Seychelles, with more iconic destinations to be added soon.
Major hospitality names such as Kempinski, Waldorf Astoria, and Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts are already onboard along with 650+ global suppliers, underscoring the platform’s credibility and international reach.Set against the elegant backdrop of The Orchid Garden, Waters Edge, the Grand Opening was an unforgettable evening of magic and celebration. Guests were welcomed with cocktails and mingled over a soulful live violin performance before witnessing a dazzling launch moment, complete with ribbon-cutting, fireworks, and a champagne tower to mark the official debut of the platform.
A glamorous sit-down gala dinner followed, accompanied by a special guest performance by 1980s music icon Bernita Bull, who serenaded the audience in nostalgic style.One of the highlights of the night was the live guest raffle, where five lucky attendees took home incredible gifts and luxury getaways. Stephi Wimalasinghe won a stay at Eraeliya Villas, while the grand prize, a four-night retreat at Conrad Bali, was awarded to Rashmal Herath of Jetwing Hotels.The online raffle, run exclusively through the Marriage Market platform, gifted four spectacular international stays to winners around the world, courtesy of hotel partners: Hilton Malta, Teardrop Hotels,Resplendent Ceylon, and Laila Seychelles.
The evening also included a heartfelt Sponsor Appreciation segment, recognizing the incredible support of all event sponsors, including the main event planners, Bunny Destinations, and Anywhera Events.
